Phase I of the OTN Cabot Strait Line began in October of 2009 with 37 receiver stations from Cape North, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, to St. Paul Island. By October 2011, phase II was complete with extension all the way to Cape Ray, Newfoundland for a total straight line distance of >100 km.
