The OTN South Africa Array consists of a series of receiver lines strategically placed around the coast of this country. Phase I deployments began in the fall of 2011, with 20 VR2W receivers in Mossel Bay and 20 VR2W receivers in Algoa Bay. Phase II, deployed in late 2012, involved the placement of receivers in False Bay to the west of Phase I deployments, near Port St. Johns and Port Alfred to the east of Phase I deployments, and within selected estuaries along the southern and eastern seaboard.
